Correct me if I'm wrong, I think that car belongs to John Carmack who also had the Testarossa 1000hp and F50 turbo. If it is his car then the tuner would probably be Norwood

    Tonyh,
the chopped F40 mentioned isn't an actual F 40. It was developed in 1993 using a F40 as a base. A bi-turbo V8 F 40 engine of 2.936cc producing 650 hp @ 7500 rpm sits in the back. A total weight of 960 kg. Specially made on order of Mr Blaton by an Italian-Swiss team, under supervision of Argentinian Mario Navarete and former technicians from the Coloni F1 team. Using a Hewland 5 speed box and a V8 biturbo engine relates it to a F 40. The engine is attached to the cage for overall stiffness. Suspension uses F1 technology.

Hey guys, I just noticed this thread and became very excited! I'm the one behind the site:

    http://www.ferrarihistory.homestead.com

which I noticed has been mentioned a few times. I keep lists on over 100 of the biggest Ferrari collections, past and present, so if anyone has any questions please feel free to email me or just look around my site. You'll notice lots of pictures of Mr. Lauren's cars, as well as many others. In my personal opinion, Pierre Bardinon's Mas du Clos is and has been the great Ferrari collection of all time in terms of quality of cars (rare and with excellent history) and in numbers of these quality cars. However, he has sold off most of his cars over the years, but still has a few choice ones left including 3(!) winners of the 24h Le Mans (he's owned 4). Anyways, for the list check out:

    All the best guys
