OK, with the owners of such extreme vehicles here, I thought I would ask and get some info. What is the most fanatical thing you do to maintain your car? Climate Controlled garages? Those bubble things? Anything more fanatical?
I washed my Suburban last year. Actually, I did pull out the tomato plants growing in the bed of my toyota truck. No lie.
I'm not really that fastidious about car care (although it is only a Honda Accord for now, so that might account for it). The worst I do is that I never pump gas without grabbing a few paper towels from the dispenser to keep gasoline from dripping onto the paint.
I bring a little white towel around with me where ever I drive to, and when I get there, I clean the break dust off my wheels. Also, I don't rev my car above 2500 rpm untill the engine is completely warm unless I need to get this one light green.
