I never bought a car from Ferrari of Atlanta but my car was serviced by them numerous times. I can honestly say those guys are great. I will recomend them to anyone in Atlanta area.

I've had a very good experience purchasing a car from Pro-Auto in PA. Dealt with Mike Haber & everything was exactly as he stated. I would recommend them to anyone.

All is well (except my wife is tired of being the center of attention whenever we go out, not too many natural blondes in this town). Still have the 365 (stateside), plan on never selling it. Am still in the market for a clean, no stories 308 GTB if you run across one (and a clean TR when I return to the states in 2006).

    Cheers,
    Erik

Hard to believe that everyone in AZ is a clown when there are over 3 million people in greater Phoenix and where every major car brand is officially represented. These dealers are all by and large very good. They do what they need to do. every once in a while someone with an old car will not get what he expects or will be charged a lot of money to fix stuff that he didn't expect. It' s in the nature of old mechanical things to break.

I have several different marques in my collection and I am very happy with the service I receive in AZ. Ferrari, as I said earlier in this thread, have been excellent. Jim Summers is terrific. Phoenix Motors and Chandler Mercedes (both MB dealers) are simply perfect when it comes to service. They pick up your car when it needs work and they deliver back to clean and perfect. BMW Scottsdale (a Penske dealership) have always taken care of my various BMW's without flaw. Land Rover took great care with my (no longer owned) Range Rovers. and on and on..... I'm not sure where the clowns are in AZ, maybe they followed you back east?

Jim Summers at Ferrari of Scottsdale is great !!!

He looks after a few of my customers cars and I have always found them to be exceptional in every respect as have my clients. No complaints here in about 3 years of experience with them.

It was aeronautical engineering, wasn't it? Doesn't that make you some sort of rocket scientist? A medical degree would be slumming. :)

I visited Ferrari of Atlanta today to try to find out whether my 328 had had all three recall items taken care on it. The service manager said that cars that old wouldn't appear on FNA's computer, but that he would make a few phone calls and try to find out. I figured he might not call me back until Monday, if at all.

Much to my surprise, while I was browsing at their parts & gifts counter about 10 minutes later he came up from the service area to tell me that he had verified that all the recalls had been accomplished on my car. And I hadn't even bought my car or anything else from the dealership! That's service!

I know, FOA is good. They've allways treated me nicely. Next time ask them to take you down stairs where they hide the F40's and F50s. One time I saw 3 Enzos, 2 F40's, F50, GTO bunch of 355/360/550's/ a 512 and you name it. Take my word for it have them take you down stairs to the warehouse.

Actually, I haven't had nearly the amount of problems on the east coast as I've had on the west. We have our share of mafia wanna be's, and thugs, but for the most part, people are genuine here, and they'd rather have repeat customers, than a quick gouge of somebody.

Well, i have mixed/undecided feelings & opinions about Scottsdale Ferrari...

NOT about Gary Simon or Jim Summers, I think they're
    good guys...

I bought a car from GS in the late 1980's when the Fcar
dealership in PHX was 'Cavallino', off of Acoma, I believe.
Very nice dealing with Gary & Jim.

Was sorry to see the dealership got scarfed up by Penske,
as altho I wouldn't mind working with Gary & Jim again,
I really don't feel like buying a car from Penske & the
big corporate world; I'd rather go with someone who's
got a mom & pop type of shop...

Haven't yet stopped by Scottsdale Ferrari, next time I'm in
    PHX, it's on the list.

Not an indictment, just non-warm fuzzy feeling here...

The truth is that Scottdale Ferrari has changed the Ferrari world for the better for us Phoenix members of the FCA. Big and corporate they certainly are, but this has led to the ability to really come to the party regarding major sponsoship of club events. The Arizona chapter is probably one of the most active in the entire FCA pantheon, due somewhat to great year round driving weather and spectacular drives, a large and enthusiastic membership, but also to a large extent very generous sponshorship by Scottsdale Ferrari of club events, advertising in newsletters, discounted service for members etc etc.

Small mom and pop establishments are well and good in diners and florist shops, but where you are dealing in very expensive assets I believe bigger is better.
