It might be a bit early for this, but my vote is for Force India. Great job this season. They have some fantastic young yet mature drivers with them. It seems they are dicing with Renault for the 2nd place spot for mid pack runners just behind Mercedes although the constructors points don't really reflect this. Also, FI seems to have a more solid base of people with them than Williams, Sauber, and Renault specifically who have lost important people through the course of the season. This team came from about nothing and has really done a fine job putting things together.

Second place definitely goes to Ferrari. They really made lemonade there didn't they lol. F150 was dicing with W02 at the beginning of the season and was riddled with odd suspension issues. They made the podium regularly in the end there really making it work.

A third place to this would be MB. They went from the beginning of the season being lapped and usually a solid 1.5 seconds+ off leader pace to ending being only a second off Vettel's pace and less than a second off the other Red Bull.

How about STR? They've been at the bottom for so long, but now not so much.

    Certainly ISN'T Renault.

They must be the worst... fighting for 3rd,... then they fell off a cliff.

Naming their car 'F150' wasn't a good start <lol>. Seriously, I'm sure they will do MUCH better next year. Vettel better smash all other records he can the remaining 2 races, because the days of the domination he had at the beginning of the season are over IMO. I expect all 4 major teams to be pretty equal next year. Hope I'm right :D.

I would agree with Force India, they have had some great drives this year.

The Alonso factor. I honestly believe this is his best season in terms of consistency and pace, bringing a crappy car to respectable finishes race in and race out.

Agree on FI, and I would mention Toro Rosso as well. They have been running strong.

I still think of them as Minardi. Now they are routine point scorers. ...who'd a thunk?

No doubt Force India have improved a lot, but so has STR specially with Jaime Alguesuari.

Most improved team!?!?!?!? Points wise they are behind 17pts from this time last year...

Ferrari hasn't improved at all.. :(

Most improved would be Red bull. Only 1 retirement this year

I would have to say both Red bull teams. The big league teams reliability has been an a major upgrade this year.....it is the ultimate dominance that they could have had last year if Vettel was a big boy instead of a what Hamilton has been this year. STR in the last few races has become a very respectable mid level team. They could be knocking on Force India's door by years end. In the lower tier it is Team Lotus or Caterham or whatever Tony calls it this week. They have been nipping at Williams ankles and look ready to truly (not Truili) jump into the mid pack next year. Here is to a great 2012, hope it mimics 2010!
