    Let the boyz play mentality, certain particular vehicles perennially scoring high per capita on property damage, conspicuously missing from this list, it would appear government's been cutting Civic SI, 370Z, Camaro and Mustang guys slack. But, for some peculiar reason, state, city and county government have been singling-out Subaru people.

    ... from last year, can you guess which car is most disproportionately owned, by men (e.g., hint: "costly signaling"). The answer will not surprise you:

    If you look at the list, a lot of them are for younger owners. It makes perfect sense that they would get more speeding, traffic, or parking tickets.

    I don't think it's the cars. It's the owners who are attracted to these cars that are the problem.

    In addition, if you look at a lot of exotics which are really fast, few are driving more than once a week and almost never parked in a place to get a ticket. Again, it makes sense they would be ticketed less over time.
