Planning within the next five years or so to purchase a second ferrari. I want it to be very unassuming. No turned heads, no second glances, no people stopping you at gas stations asking for pics. I'm sure color is a big part. My current ferrari is red and sticks out like a sore thumb. So pry grey/silver. But I'm looking for something you can drive around daily that people won't tend to notice. And, God forbid, leaved it parked outside my house since I won't have garage space for it, and most people would walk by it and not even know it's a ferrari...any suggestions? Reliability is also a factor of course. Don't know what prices will look like 5 years from now, but preferably under 80k. I live in America also.

Under 80k the only options that meet your requirements are the 400 or 412. Over 80k the only Ferrari I know of that doesn't scream Ferrari is the 456. If you have a problem with being noticed you've chosen the wrong brand.

A 456 in Grigio Titanio should do the trick.

It's amazing the difference between driving a 458 and an F12. Both are rosso corsa. With the 458 its people yelling at you, filming you, trying to race you, ask you what you do for a living, what's it cost, how fast have you gone, etc. With the F12 you get about 10% of the attention if that. Go F12. If you want to blend in get a white/gray run of the mill color and no badgers.

    Mondial.

The <$80k 365/400/412 is going to be well over $80k before you know it.

Be careful keeping an '80s or '90s Ferrari outside. Rust never sleeps.

Hey, the first car I ever bought was a 1994 Ford Probe SE (the Probe GT was too expensive). People were always mistaking it for a Ferrari. Oh, wait, that never happened . . . .

I greatly prefer my 458 Spider.

Stealth Ferrari. Not a loud color, covered up the shields with PPF/paint, switched to titanium wheel caps. The number of teenagers in clapped-out Japanese cars with fart can exhaust that want to drag race me has dwindled to zero...T

Hard for any Ferrari not to draw some attention, but a 612 in silver/grey would be an awesome daily while not screaming look at me.

Paul (@Nospinzone) has a 612. I thought I heard him to say it was a "chick magnet".

An FF in black or grey. No one expects to see a Ferrari shooting break or station wagon. If you find one without the shields...

Edit - Just saw it should be under $80k - so really, it would have to be a 456 GTA which not sure is worth the money with that awful GM autobox.

Awesome, the first car I purchased was a 1994 Ford Probe (above). The second was a 1994 Mazda Miata. The Miata was amazing. 0 - 60 in about 9 seconds, but you thought you were going really fast.

I have zero problems when my Rosso 458 Spider draws attention.

I saw such an FF the other day when picking up my Cali from service. All blacked out except shields. To my eyes, it looked totally bad a$$.

One good thing about making your F-car incognito, true enthusiasts will still notice it, and likely appreciate it. Had a nice interaction with a young man the other day while driving my Cali. He spotted it, knew what it was, and we had a nice short chat.
