I love that there's no BoP baloney in MotoGP.

There is still great racing going on and this currently lopsided situation forces manufacturers to innovate.

MotoGP is definitely more interesting to watch than anything that car racing can offer.

I am worried that aero is creeping in though.

Car racing is fortunately not limited to F1 - one-make series can be very competitive, and Le Mans 24h was also interesting (the Ferrari / Toyota battle last almost until the very end).

Personally, I prefer watching different series in GT racing, for their diversity; I can't get enought of that !
European GT World Challenge (GT2, GT3, and GT4), DTM and GT Masters in Germany; I watch those on Youtube.
I also watch live in UK the British GT Championship and the GT Cup, very entertaining.
Also, I can relate to GT more than to single seaters anymore, and there is no bitching there.

I still follow F1, but it's very predictable it has to be said and it's a complete media circus these days.

... and on the podium of the Sprint thanks to Brad Binder's mistake in the very last lap.
Bagnaia has not completely secured the title yet, but it looks promising since the Ducati rider in front of him is never the same.

More stupidity from MM today. Crashing into the back of EB on the tow. He needs to hang it up before someone gets killed.

Yes, MM is becoming very accident prone; he keep bumping in other riders.
The last 2 years have been a litany of falls and crashes from him.

First Honda in 8th place. How the mighty has fallen !!!

We are not hamf way throught the season, but Bagnaia could be on his way to a second title.

Whatever, the world champion will ride a Ducati !

Yes, this guy is awesome. If not the two DNFs in the beginning if this season, he would have been far ahead in the championship by now. But he learns, learns by experience, even by crashes, and Ducati team learns how to improve the bike.

Guest appearance on the podium by Yamaha (yesterday) and Aprilia (today).
Congrats to A.Espargaro to finish on the podium when riding with broken front aero of his Aprilia.

Assen was a racing feast with very good cameras from the track. Speed sensation was incredible in some shots.
Those guys on those machines are real speed heroes.

Congrats to the Valentino Rossi academy.
10 years ago Valentino was the only Italian top riders, now they are at least five !
    Huge accomplishment.

Why would riders like Quarteraro and Marquez hang on to their bike manufacturers, even though those are out in the weeds compared to the Ducatis? I bet ayn one of the Ducati teams would accept them. Or maybe even KTM. Somehow I think the KTM would suit Marquez's driving style just fine.

Seems to me Marquez has also his own problems now.
Regarding Quartararo , if Yamaha does not show some improvement, I will not be surprised to see him joining Aprilia or KTM.

Silverstone was a good race, no spoilers LOL, with a great last lap.
'Moto 3 was "stellar" as to me is appeared all 20 riders were within a 1/2 second at the finish.
Next, at the Red Bull Ring, pretty sure Aug 13 2023.

Quartararo joining Aprilia would perfectly make sense.
The Yamaha is the worst bike of the whole field this year.

The Japanese manufacturers have been completely wiped out this year.
Their main problem seems to be their frames giving terrible bad handling.
All their riders are unhappy with the way their feedback is ignored at the factory.

Another show of force by Ducati and Bagnaia... More than 5s gap at the end, which is really uncommon in moto gp.
The real fight was for 3rd position, since Binder became rapidly isolated in 2nd with his KTM.
8th place of Quartararo is not bad considering his bike, but Zarco's 13th position does not look good, specially with Alex Marquez finishing 5th after having fought for the podium.

Good racing, as usual, yet Ducati/Bag just dominated.

Battle for 1st for the first 1/2 of the race was great, with a chance of Duc dominance being passed.
GP "pack" was more spread out in my view, not sure about the timing from first to last, yet it may have been greater than usual.
Of interest seems to be Ducati launch control.... guess we will know more sooner than later on this improvement.
I recall gas mileage appeared to be an issue and special fuel was used.
I also recall the statement that full throttle was 75% of the lap.
Poor Yamaha. Quat and team can't get a break.
Good to see Val Rossi at the track.
I am routing for VR46 team over Bag?
Can't recall the highlights of Moto 2 & 3, yet I seem to recall that their packs were spread out more than usual too.

    Next... Sept 03 Catalunya
