That was good race in Silverstone and a great last lap by Ben Spies.

    Indeed, Lorenzo was also epic.

Seems like Honda is interested in getting Stoner. Should be an interesting off season with so many riders out of contract.

When/where was this televised? I have my DVR set to record all MotoGP races, but this one wasn't recorded. Also, does anyone know if it will be replayed?

Speed showed it live in the morning. Check the Speedtv schedule to see if they will show it again this week.

I watched the race on the BBC. Great race and it seems to be a great track as well with good overtaking opertunities. They said it will also going to be used for the F1 race?

Anyway, in the pre-race show on the BBC they showed some old footage and I noticed the large starting field. It seemed that there were about thirty riders on the grid! (They also had to push-start their bikes, those were the days ;) )
Will we ever see such large fields back in Motogp? This weekend with a few injured riders the Motogp field looked a bit sorry size wise.

The grid has been around 17-18 riders for sometime now. Moto2 on the other hand has a large field with packs of riders racing closely and has been very exciting.

He's improving with every race and has to be considered for a factory ride soon.

The panets seem to be aligning so that Rossi will be riding a Ducati next year. Yamaha wants him to take a pay cut...to pay Lorenzo more. I don't think Rossi will do that despite apparently liking Yamaha.

Lorenzo looks strong and unbeatable this year.

You maybe right about Rossi's situatuion. Lorenzo is walking away with this year's championship.

I don't think Rossi would take a pay cut, no way - not to pay Lorenzo more. That would be a huge insult to him. The second Yamaha shows favoritism to Lorenzo, Rossi will want to go to another team, and his prime focus will be to destroy Lorenzo. That's exactly what happened when Honda started to disrespect him, and he went to Yamaha.

I would love to see him go to Ducati, with a fire lit under his ass. There is nothing more exciting in the racing world than a highly motivated Valentino Rossi!

Looks like the Moto2 field now. Tremendous number of bikes. Seems a miracle that they all get through the first turn.

Even Stoner called the current grid number a joke and said there should be more bikes.
