    Anyone who has been to London and gone to the Motor Books store in Cecil Court knows what a great shop it was. I received an email yesterday that they have closed. I remember that they sold part of the shop to Grand Prix Legends (St. Martins Models), so for a while, there was a great book shop and a great model shop all in one spot.

    There website is still up, though.

    That's a shame. The flip side of having the convenience of Ebay and Amazon I suppose. Chaters shop used to be only a mile or so down the road from me and was a treat to visit. Still it went the same way. Pity.

    And all the Model Zones are on the way out, too. Used to fit all that stuff in while walking around London's big attractions.
