Went to the motor show last night with GV, and I must say I was bored sh1tless. Had a look at the Zonda, ($1.2m), why the hell would you want that. A couple of years and it'll be worth the same as a 360. Saw a convertible Lambo, $599,999 + on road costs. Still not a patch on an F40 and most of the lambo's are really heavy The Murchiello&*%*&(*&)(*_, whatever the hell you call it, was 1650 Kilos. Okay it's 580 horsepower, but the weight is gonna really slow it down. The best thing in the building was the 430 with the ceramic brakes. They were without a doubt, the biggest and the best looking brakes in the building, of all the cars. Saw the superamerican, yeah it's okay, but it's got a strange GTS, roof line when the roof is down. I now know what the big difference is between the 430 berlinetta and the 430 spider. It's the rear roof line. The spider's engine bay cover is flat, and the berlinetta has a 40 degree uptern to the roof and there is a big difference, in looks. Anyway, now you can all winch about Lambos vs Ferrari vs Zonda.

The Zonda u saw was it the Yellow Roadster that has been doing the rounds? ie: http://www.coresworld.net/FCA_NSW_Concours_DElegance/img_1725.htm the past few years? I heard there is 2 or 3 Zonda's in Oz.

Ash: The Zonda is the only super/ultracar that comes in RHD all the more reason to get one :) Oops, I forgot the CCR is the other one.

Now the F is out I wouldnt get the C12S hahaha. :)

The Murcielago Roadster I have seen priced upto $700k....

Yes, it was yellow. The interior is really strange, Sort of like, what you'd expect batman's car to be inside.

That yellow one should have the NSW plates [PAGANI] on it, I got some pics(with the plates) somewhere of it... maybe someone here spotted it afew months back... That pic i did back in August, it still had Trade plates.

That is the only Zonda in the country at the moment. It has been the demo for a couple of years. It was originally bought in by MGA who had the rights to the Zonda badge originally. It then lost it when MG Rover went under and it was picked up by Supercar Investments. The Roadster is $1.4 and the coupe $1.2 million. That is for the S coupe not the F.

I personally don't like the styling but the attention to detail is second to none.

I'm not sure which Lambo convertible would be $599,999, as stated above the M Roadster goes for over $700k and although I haven't heard an exact price for the G roadster I wouldn't expect to be even close to $500,000.

You mean its the C12S Roadster, as per pics. Are you sure its the only one, I have heard numerous ppl spot a silver C12S coupe in NSW.

I read an article just after the sydney motor show about the new distributors that said it was the only one in the country. And it hadn't been sold at that point either.

There hasn't been an F Roadster yet.

Sorry I figured that the reason you put that it was the C12S roadster, you thought that I could have meant an F roadster. That's all.

I spotted it, the importer, who runs supercarinvestments takes it to the burrows drive days. I've sat in it, it's a very unique car but like gill said, batman like, especially the instrument clusters.
Don't know if he's sold any

For a modern car the Zonda is very light (1250kg), the F is the fastest round the Top Gear test track and, like jim501 said, its detailing is nothing short of incredible. I'd love this car! Plus there's bugger all about which should keep its value up.

roger, the maths werks out like this 1,200,000 at 7%, balloon of 50% 5 years =$15380.72 per month, and in the end u still owe more than what a new 612 and a 2 y/o M3 together.

yea but i was paying more freight than that on 4 cars and the appeal is that you can register it and use as a daily drive , yet i'm just not 100% on the looks .

edit : these two photos of the car in this colour and the different wheels help it heaps in the looks department

I think its one of the best looking supercars out there, and it's alot lower to the ground then the pictures make it look, but its the details that impress you the most
