Who know the color from the Urraco P300 at the 1977 Geneva motor show? or the chassis number...

The first of these shots are from Geneva in 1976, and of those the first is from Modern Motor June 1976, which is interesting as the Silhouette is most likely 40006, a red with black interior car that was apparently finally delivered to a French dealer in October 1976, several months after the Swiss show.
The next shot is from Wheels June 1976, the next is from a year book which I no longer have the details for, but it is probably the Daily Express Motor Show special from 1977-78.
Note to that they changed the position of the cars by swapping the Countach and the Urraco around.

The B&W images are of what I think is Silhouette 40098, a yellow car with black interior, (it could also be 40086, a white car with black interior) that was delivered to Australia and which appeared at the Melbourne Motor Show in 1978, as did the Countach.

The first image is from Wheels June 1978, the next two are from Motor Manual June 1978.

Once again, any help clarifying which exact cars these are, which includes any of the ones in the background, would be greatly appreciated.

This image was used to advertise the 1976 Sydney Motor Show, but as can be seen the car is LHD so isn't actually that show.
It is in fact Geneva 1976. In addition to the writing and huge Citroen display visible behind the Countach, in one of the shots posted above you can see the same woman in the background with the same white 'suit' on.

Paul, don't suppose you have photos of my 40094 at the Brisbane show of 1978?
The yellow car 40092 is now blue and was taken by its owner to the South of France about 5 years ago. He left behind his red one which from memory is 40084 but I will check. The yellow car was in fact 40092. Whereas the yellow 40098 was delivered in the UK and restored in about 2000 and painted silver. That car has subsequently been imported to Australia about 18 months ago.

Good pick up! I meant to put 40092 in, but messed up and put 40098 instead, (trying to do too many things at once), a car which I knew had been in the UK since new. Thanks for putting me right on that one:)

Do you happen to know if the Melbourne show's Silhouette was 40092 or 40084? (not 086 as I mistakenly wrote. It's not my day for accuracy today sadly)

Unfortunately I don't have any images of the 1978 Brisbane Show, but I'm always looking for new material and if one turns up I'll let you know.

I'll ask Maurie Duchini of Brent's to see if he remembers. I just sent him a copy of the photo. He still trades under the Brent's name in Melbourne.

The Jarama is most probably 10120, as a report in the March 1974 issue of Modern Motor said it was the only one of its type in Australia at the time.
However, 10124 also went to Australia, I just don't know when.
If the Jarama in this picture is 10120, then it is green with a natural coloured interior and I understand it is still that colour scheme today.
If it is 10124 then I have no idea what the colour was when it was new, but at present it is red with a black interior.

Aventador pictured at the Brussels Motor Show yesterday. I didn’t note the chassisnumber, and maybe I will regret in another 30 years, for now I’m focusing on the vintage bulls.

Inside the Brussels Motor Show there’s also an expo about the Mythical Cars and of course they had a Countach on display. This one is LP400 S2 #1121180.

    Excellent idea Paul!

I wish add to thread some period photos of the fabulous concept Marzal.

First three image are from 1967 Geneva motor show where Marzal was launched. Note the Ferruccio Lamborghini himself (2nd from the right) at the 1st image. By the way does anybody have these or similar pics from 1967 Geneve in better quality?

Baraldini is the man thats who he is!...

along with dallara, was key development engineer after wallace left that what in charge of developing the P7's on the L400S and Silhouettes cars during the bankruptcy years. he later has been credited of developing various prominent and notable supercars afterward that the oem manufactures wont revival. i never understood why balboni got all the press coverage instead of this man... and still dont. thats what autographing at car events will do for you.

many thanks for posting those fantastic motor show pictures.

The 78 geneva car is recognized as #40000 the very first silh and one of the two prototype cars. There are detail differences that identify them from the standard production cars.

The 3rd picture of #40000 is taken from Automotive Year 76 book as I vaguely recall? The AY 74 book also has some great color pics of the Bravo that you may want to take a look at.

Once again, very much obliged for sharing.

Now this is interesting and I very much appreciate the input. I also thought that the Geneva Show car was 40000, as the show took place early in 1976 and it would be logical to assume that the first Silhouette was featured on the stand at that time.
What makes me wonder though is that Stefano Pasini's register in the Lamborghini Review No. 1 lists 40000 as being red with a neutral interior, whereas the Geneva show car is clearly red with a black interior. There were two red with neutral cars right at the start, 40000 and 40004, but only one red with black, 40006.
I've attached two images of a Silhouette that was used in some of the earliest publicity shots, a car that I've always thought was 40000 as you can see that it has a neutral interior.
You mentioned some detail differences, could you elaborate a little more as I'm keen to learn.

    Many thanks,
    Paul

40000 was in prototype trim at Geneva 76

This is a late bumper car so it is not 40000. Kindly refer to post 162 onwards in the Silhouette thread for discussion about its possible identity.

Interesting - I had not seen these pics before. I am confident that this is 40092 and not 40084
