    Is there any motor starter made for 308 carb substitute for OME? Any one know or have experience??? Someone told me it can be used with Bosch for Mercedes???

    I'm guessing it's a Bosch - the later ones are. Just get it and/or solenoid refurbed by a good auto-electrician. The parts are available & it'll be a lot cheaper than getting a new one from Ferrari.

    No need to buy a new one. Take it to a starter shop and they can re-build it as good as new. If you find a good shop, they will tumble and re-finish the parts to make it look like the day it left the factory.

    I would look into VW mid to late 70's for a start.
    found that a great replacement for the 82 Mondy solenoid (2 valve), wa off of a VW bus of that time frame. Would be worth a look, Perhaps changing the end mount to adapt it to the F-Car.
