Just got 'round to reading it. Great article on The history of Ferrari and of Enzo as well as famous celebrities with their ferraris. Had a section titled Ferraris of a lesser god saying these cars were lesser strokes of genius.

    List includes:

    348
    mondial 8
    330 GTB 2+2
    GT4
    400 A

Wonder why they would go out of their way to mention their thoughts on these cars when only time will tell their true value.

    Good article nonetheless.

It will be interesting to see how these cars do a decade from now. I can kind of see the Mondial 8 always being in the shadow of the 3.2 and T versions. The GT4 looks better and better to me, though.

lol... yeah, thats basically it..."Because everyone agrees with them"

Although the 330, and the GT4 kinda look "neat", none in that list really live up to the Ferrari name... also keep in mind that not even Enzo (and the rest of the team) liked all the cars they made...

Besides... you even stated why they mentioned them in your own words... "only time will tell"... most of them are 30 years old, which means they can technically be classified as "classics" time has pretty much told its story... also, time becomes irrelivant if no one 'tells'... 50 years in the future it wouldnt matter if everyone decided that those 5 cars were the best Ferrari's ever made, if no one said they are, or are not... thats just how popularity works...

But Motor Trend is American... and they'l take a cheap shot at anything they can to bolster their own 'kind', and people in general like to trash stuff for the sake of trashing... obviously (should be atleast) I wouldnt chose any of those cars first over other Ferrari's... but I wouldnt turn any of them down either...

I havent read the article (and can't find it online in my meager search)... but im sure they went on about how great the Enzo is, or the 599, or the 430 Scag... so it sort of makes sense to name the bottom of the bunch aswell (in their opinion)
