    Hi all,

I'm looking for some information on Motorcars International in Springfield, MO. They have a car I'm interested in pursuing and was wondering if anybody here has any experience (good or bad) wth them.

Any info would be most appreciated. Also I've not contacted anybody there yet so if you've got somebody you've had good luck with I'd appreciate a name.

    Thanks in advance

The guys at Motorcars are great! Great service and incredible cars. The sales guys know their stuff. I got a very nice 328 from them in Oct. and traded it back to them for my current TR in Dec. Very easy to deal with. Their prices are a little high, but it has been worth it to me to spend a little more given the quality of their cars. Talk to Randy and tell him Steve says hello. PM me if you would like any additional info.

You can search for Motorcars on here, this has been discussed often, always with positive remarks, lots of Motorcars clients on here, including myself.

    You can buy with confidence...

From what I have observed their prices are much higher overall. They also have lost some experianced personnel and I have noticed a decline in customer/seller interaction.

Thanks Guys, I appreciate the information.

Chris I did search the forum before I posted and as you indicated there was much good information to be found.

Steve I will ask for Randy and mention your name. Thanks for that.

Any thoughts on a good shop in that area to do an independent PPI?

cannot give advice on a source for a PPI in Springfield, I never felt the need as Motorcars will refund or warrant if a problem arises... call Chris Hill at 913 402 1710, he is in KC and could at least give you some ideas. Chris has Autosport Gallery and he has some connections with Motorcars..

I believe Premier Sportscars has done PPIs for them in the past. They are just down the road and carry a nice selection of cars themselves. BTW which car are you interested in?

Encouraging that they'll work with you if the car isn't satisfactory. As I said I haven't had any conversation with them so that's new information for me.

Steve, they have a 1999 Black/Tan 550 that has caught my interest. I've been looking at a 2002 575 here locally but the price difference between it and the 550 is a good start toward yet another Ferrari a bit down he road.

    Thanks again for the leads.

    Hi Pat--

Did you buy that car? I'd love to get details of your experience with Motorcars. I am currently considering another F-car they have.

    Thanks-
    Vic
