    Just picked one up and the laptop dock. Works great with wifi but without wifi, the laptop dock is nothing more than a expensive device to see your phone screen bigger. The wifi browser looks just like a real laptop, but the enlarged phone screen looks like real crappy. It freezes up a lot which probably is the Dual Core. Gonna play with it one more time tonight and see. But most likely it is going back tomorrow. Should have just picked up a wireless card.

    Boo on the Atrix.

    If you Google "motorola atrix locks up" you'll find you're not alone. Sorry to hear. But
    at least it sounds like you can take it back.

    Reminds me of the Treo 650 and 700 I had - they were just expensive paper weights
    most of the time.

    well I will keep the Atrix for now. My brother in law installed this app for me and since I have a unlimited data plan grandfathered in, I can tether to my macbook. The laptop dock goes back tomorrow.

    I'm about due for a new phone and was wondering about this one. I was surprised there was no thread on it yet. Doesn't sound too promising!!

    Are you with AT&T and grandfathered in? I was looking the other night and they wouldn't show me the Atrix as an upgrade to my account and wanted me to change data plans.

    I might have better luck stopping by the store though.

    Any other impressions? I've been more of a BB fan than iphone but I may be changing my mind!?
