What do you guys think about motul oil?
Both the Motul 4-cycle and 2-cycle oils have worked great on all my motorcycles over the years. I've never tried their automotive oils though.
I carry many types and brands of oil at my shop, but I'm considering using only motul products... Just a thought
I've been very pleased with the Motul engine oils. I've used it in a lot of different race and street engines with success. I had an Audi 1.8T, the engines are well known for oil coking which causes early turbo failure or plugging up the oil pickup and seizing the camshafts resulting in a destroyed engine. The car was chipped very early in it's life (from 6psi to 20psi) which often results in early turbo failure. I was the third owner and had all of the service history. The first owner used Redline (and chipped it), the second used Mobil 1 and I used Motul 300v. The car got to 126,000mi before the turbo let go. The engine was sparkling clean. I put 45,000mi of that in 1.5 yrs of very aggressive driving. This obviously wasn't entirely the work of Motul, but it was used during the last third of it's life which I feel says something positive about that particular situation. Their RBF600 brake fluid is fantastic. It's less compressive and has a high boiling point. I've noticed both of these benefits in cars, and I know motorcycle guys have noticed these changes as well. Just my opinion and experience.
