This all started from Chapin to Lowes Motor Speedway for NASCAR and Track time. Drove 10 laps on the big oval. Sometimes we get sick of NASCAR, but dirve the track, and it will give you respect for those guys, I don't see how they do it. (top speed was only 120 but fun in the corners. The secrete it so lag behind and then hit it.)From Charlotte, over to the Pinsette Westin on Main Street in Greenville, great old hotel, then to Dianes Steak House.

AWESOME MOUNTAIN DRIVE ON SATURDAY! I like it this time of year, less trafic, you can actually see the moutain, no leaves, and therefore trafic ahead. You should have seen the ice on the rocks, some of the ice formations were at 20-40 feet long.

Here's the drive, lunch in Brevard at Hobnobs, then up 215 to the parkway, then to Asheville. 151 was closed. From there to Starbucks, then over to 64 to Chimney Rock and Lake Lure. My first drive on that road at Jeremy's recomendation. What a great drive. When I got to Chimney rock, the phone cops had the real cops waiting on me. Pulled me over, and said, you know why I pulled you don't you, you've got cops looking for you all the way to Hendersonville. Turns out some folks must have thought my car was too loud. They turned out to be really professional, great car guys as well. Asked bout the car, I promised they would not hear boo out of me, and that was that. It was kinda like give me three steps mister....This is the third time phone cops have gotten me!

Lake Lure would make a great get away for the folks from outside the area for a meet. There is a historic hotel with an increadible view. We have to get a club going and do some fun driving! Let's go!!!
