    I recently recovered the center console on my 78 GTS. Some of the mouse ear knobs on the slide and toggle switches are not retained as tightly as when new. Can someone recommend an adhesive or other retention method so that they won't have a tendency to fall off during normal use?

    Very small shim of electrical tape on the stem. Usually on just one side will take up looseness yet easily removable.

    flat toothpick shim, no sticky residue and will not slide around in hot weather. trim as needed for a snug fit.
