Mick, mousehair is traditionally used on the older Ferraris...60's and early 70's. The more modern alternative today for a 348 or 355 would be to use Alcantara, though neither car came with Alcanatara, even as an option.

What do you do with the bald mouse after you remove its hair? Obviously he/she/it must stay out of the sun or risk certain peril? Just seems pretty cruel to sacrifice the mouse's hair for a dash ornament.....just wait until PETA hears about this...

I'm very serious. I replaced my deterioriated leather dash on my '96 Spider with black mouse hair (simulated suede) and it looks great.

Alcantara or mouse hair (simulated suede). Looks great on my '96 Spider and now I don't have to worry about leaving my car sit on the sun. Why do you think that most car manufactures don't put leather on the dash?

I assume you covered the dash in alcantara, how about a matching steering wheel? I am having trouble finding one.

What part of the country do you live in? I guess we would ship an upper dash to you in a big box?

I live in Oklahoma.(73505) I wouldn't cover the steering wheel because the material will stretch and discolor from body oils.
