Marky did you end up making the switch or getting any seat time in a GT4?

Have a GT4 now, had an F430 6-speed, and now a couple newer F-cars in the garage. I drive all my cars the way they were intended, i.e. frequently, with verve, and occasionally on track.
I agree with BusDriver's comments above in general.
I drive the GT4 now daily, on sporting drives, and on track. After several runs in the north Georgia mountains, it is simply the best handling and most engaging/fun car I have experienced there on those twisty roads.
If you are planning to daily drive the car, be aware that a few creature comforts some take for granted/desire these days aren't there or available, e.g. factory back up camera, seat heat on the "must have" CF sport buckets, Porsche high end sound system, etc.
Bottom line: F430 = proper exotic and all that goes with that, GT4 = a truly great sports car, extremely fun and engaging driving experience.

Mholifield how is the F430 in comparison up in the mountains? I currently own a GT4 and take it to the mountains at least once a month. That's the only place where I enjoy the car but at the same time it's so capable that it also gets a little stale due to just how easy it is. I hardly drive my car around town anymore as I think my S2000 is more fun and engaging around town.

Well currently taking the plunge from my GT4 to a F430. Excited and a little apprehensive at the same time.

I have not driven a GT4 but I just traded my 360 on a GT3 and am thrilled with the choice. The GT3 blends and is not as noticeable as the 360. I'm certain it will cost far less to maintain. I will take the GT3 places I won't take my Huracan and wouldn't have taken the 360.

wow, I thought the Huracan was the 360 replacement...going with both that and a GT3. Very nice. After you have had both for a while, I'd be interested to know how you feel about keeping both vs. only the GT3 (I guess asking if the GT3 can fill all the roles and thus is somewhat redundant with the Huracan).

Show us some pics of the Gt3! what year?

I would have traded the 360 on the Huracan...but it was in the shop. :) Seriously, I didn't think it would ever get out so I pulled the trigger on the Huracan. Then when we finally got the 360 out of the shop (3rd time in five weeks), we took it immediately to the Porsche dealership and traded it in on the GT3.

GT3 is 2015, so still under warranty. And no, I won't be getting rid of either. I am in serious love with my Huracan. It would be the last car to go, but the GT3 can be driven/parked more places, so it's a great backup. They are both excellent performers but the Huracan is quicker. Both are very smooth riding, but the GT3 seats are far more comfortable and there's more leg room. Each a different experience and awesome, so we'll be keeping both. Our garage is looking excellent. (i just wrote a longer comparison between three of our cars in my original thread of turbo vs GT3)

GT4 is an awesome car for the street and the track. Hope you could find one.
