    I was quite disappointed by the movie. More time is spent on Ferrari's relationship with his wife and mistress than on the cars or the company. I was ready to walk out however my friend didn't want to leave and she loved the movie which says a lot.

    I'm seeing it tomorrow, there is so much about his life/the company that could be made into a movie.

    From my understanding, and expectation, it's a biopic and not a movie so much about the car company itself.

    Movies just about cars are either boring or cartoons (see "Cars.") The movie is about the man at an extreme moment of crisis for his company and the sport that was his whole reason for being. Obviously, your friend has a better appreciation of what makes a good story.
