Help is greatly appreciated. Has anyone ever moved a car from Europe to the U.S. (used car)? Specifically from the U.K. to the west coast of the U.S.?

    Details are desired.

There is intrique in the air.

    Thanks.

Back up to about Germany, then floor it. When you hit the Dover cliffs, the car will get some pretty good air. Maybe only enough to hit Massachusetts, but you can drive the rest of the way.

Shouldn't be a problem. I have moved cars from Europe to Egypt, from the States to Egypt. There are specialized shipping agents for moving cars who do all the job and paper work. Find your shipping agent in the UK and all you need to do is give them the location of the car and they take it from there.

    Tarek's advice is correct.

You may want to take a Cruise on one of the Queens, Mary II or Elizabeth, where you can take the along with you and drive it afterclearing Customs and the Legalities.
Air freight with you on a Flight. Lufthansa used to do this.
Call Lufthansa and Cunard, Cunard was bought by someone recently.
You'll also need to insure this, and Lioyd's of London, or maybe Zurich, would know of a Shipping Co.
EHarms, out of Germany does this also.

We did. We moved our Triumph Spitfire from the UK to here on the East Coast. The car is more than 25 years old though so we just put it in a container (which was coming over anyway and happened to have room for the car) and got throuhgh. Because its more than 25 years old its exempt from a lot of tax/emissions crap so it was simply a job of loading it up, unloading it and getting it inspected. What kind of car are you thinking about bringing over?
