    Melodie is sick of Hooterville.
We are both tired of not having any decent places to eat.
I'm sick of toothless Hicks and stupid people.

We just downsized from our large house between Sonora and Twain Harte into our old rental TH, so
I'm kinda use to a smaller living space. We looked at a couple small but nice homes yesterday off
Santa Teresa & Blossom Hill Rd. arond $700K.

Plus: I love the country in Sonora and having no traffic to deal with. Because I can work anywhere, it's a good place.
Plus: Chelsea can get into a 'real' high school and actually learn something.
Plus: I can meet up with Redead at MC's for happy hour and he can stop *****ing at me.
Plus: There is a TON of stuff for Chelsea to do that is close by.

Not so plus: I hate traffic. I hate most of the drivers there. I'd be paying 10X the property taxes that I do now.

What to do? Right now if I live in the TH for another 18 months, I can sell it and walk without paying taxes on $250K profit.
If I sold the 'big house', I think I'll be kicking myself in the ass for a LONG time. Hell, I don't know. Suggestions?

I think thats the best plus out there!

Why not look into the Santa Cruz Mtn area? Or Mo-Hill?

Peter, Santa Teresa and Blossom hill Rd. is is an awesome area, you got Oakridge Mall right there.
I use to leave around there and I wished I have not moved out. Lots of shops and descent restaurant.

SC Mountains is probably not affordable. My Sonora house at the falls there would be about $3.0M easy. I guess I could pull off a payment on a $1.5M house, but Melodie would have to work full time to help pay the property taxes. Morgan Hill is in the same boat. All I know that if I am going to buy in San Jose, the time is ripe to get a deal.
