    Hey all, I am probably going to be moving to Ft. Myers soon to work and go to school part time. Just wondering if there are any exotic car meets around there. I've been going to one that we have here and it's great to meet the owners and I love taking pictures of the cars. Hopefully I'll even have something to bring along (looking to buy a Viper when I get moved in)

    Naples would definitely be your best bet for exotic car sightings and meetups in south west Florida.
    Sarasota would also be good.

    Awesome and thanks for the welcome, although it should be a welcome back. Born in Orlando and lived in Tampa and St. Augustine.

    You missed one of the best shows that was last Saturday in Naples Cars On Third. Look for it next year.

    Depends on your age and interests. Ft. Meyers has Sannibel/Captiva, Naples has a beautiful downtown. Clubs go from mild to very wild, if you know where to look.

    I'll be 21 in August so it looks like it will be the clubs for me. My soon-to-be boss is a young guy also so hopefully he can show me around.

    Honestly, I do not know of clubs for your age bracket. Maybe other here can help. There always is the beach.

    I hear Chuck-E-Cheese is the place to be for my age bracket, lol. The beach is a good option. Thanks for the input so far, though.

    You are moving there about 40 years too early.
    Only retired people live in Ft. Myers.

    actually all the old people live in sarasota.... their parents live in ft myers.

    Haha, I did notice that their did seem to be a nice collection old the elderly there over the summer. I went to a bar, though (can't remember which one), and I was shocked by the amount of gorgeous, young women.

    As this is my first post on Fchat, I won't start by spamming. So just PM me about the address of the local car site(The majority of the site is in our age bracket). I imagine you will be going to FGCU, some of our members go there as well. Where is it that you will be working? And sorry to say but in Fort Myers a viper is a pretty rare sight, and yes, Naples is the more likely place to see the higher dollar rides.

    not true.

    Dunno where your looking at but I see several everyday... plenty of Vipers, Corvettes, and Porsches, Not too many ferraris around ft.myers, but I have seen quite a few bent GT's around here aswell.
    like others have said, look around naples.
    Also, if your bored, check out auto quest cars off of #41. have some pretty nice rides there, ferraris, vipers, porsches (even a carrera gt)

    Yeah Auto Quest is pretty nice, my buddy Bret is a salesmen for them. That is like a dream job, and he's been doing it since high school.

    I get down there from time to time on business and the weekend nightlife was pretty good for a town of that size. plenty of hot girls in short skirts vomiting on the sidewalks!

    there are some cool cars in ft myers as well (not just naples) you just have to know where they are.

    rick is a great guy and will talk your ear off about any car. also gives some pretty fun rides in cars he's tuning up.
