Hey, i know its not a Ferrari, but I know you guys value your cars, so your advice would be greatly appreciated. I'll be at University of Miami, starting tomorrow, and I need to know of a good shop in the area that will do most modifications for my Jaguar XK8 i.e. add an arden exhaust, change brakes to brembo, etc. If they do interior modifications as well, that would be appreciated. I can't wait to be down in the area, especially with all of the F cars running around. Hopefully, i'll run into some of you guys eventually. thank you in advance for helping.

    Sincerely,
    Jason L Baptiste

i grew up in norwood, new jersey (10 minutes from Ferrari of North America and 15 Minutes from NYC) for the first 18 years of my life. I moved down to West St Lucie Florida with my family 3 weeks ago, and I'm starting as a sophomore at University of Miami tomorrow. So far I love it man.

Why would you put a custom exhaust on a housewife's growcery getter? Its like adding a big oven pipe to a Volvo Station Wagon.
Buddy look around down here who is driving those cars. There are a Dime a Dozen and mostly 40year old females ride them.
Not trying to put your car down but save your money in customizing it and use that for future car purchases. The money you are thinking of spending will be wasted once you sell the car.

As for a shop, there is a specialized Jag shop in South Miami called ...damn my mind....I think it was something like BIG cATS or Cat Repair or somewhere along those lines.

Check in the Yellow pages under Car Repair. They are in Biz for quite some time. I never had my Jag down there since it was too far.

Join us for Karting every other Thursday. Get to meet the guys.

The other day I spotted a Jag (cant remember the name, the big new 4 door
XKE, XJK, damn names all look the same to me).

Anyway, it had the spinner wheels on it. It struck me funny (as spinner wheels seem to do) and the more I looked at it, the more I laughed. The driver spotted me and gave me the thumbs up signal.

I had been drinking milk at the time, it would have come through my nose.

I need to find some of these 40 year old females. I was with a 50 year old female who had two Jags in her garage for a while. Interesting fascination.

  6. Nice moving from a cold climate to a warm climate is incredible. I plan on moving to Miami in the near future as well.
