I just picked up a copy of MPH magazine (www.mphmagazineonline.com). I was bored and read all other car magazines this month and picked it up at Borders because the cover story "Ferrari's Cheap" caught my eye.

This article is riddled with flaws. First the production numbers of the 308 are wrong. Very wrong. They have about 150,000 units. Where the hell did they get this info?? They claim from www.308qvregister.com, but the numbers there seem right.

They then claim you can get a 330GT (in great shape) for about $40k?? Is that right?

Yeah, I picked up a copy of the magazine at the airport last week. They definately added a digit to the numbers. Supposedly, some of them are based on Peter Rychel's (ferrarichat member) registry, but I think they must have transcribed the numbers incorrectly.

I think you can definately pick up a decent 330GT for about 40k.

I find the magazine pretty amusing. I had picked up the last article on another trip and had a pretty good laugh at some of the articles. Gotta love their "backseat betty" feature. Definately aimed at a younger audience, but I am thinking about subscribing since it is only $10 for a year. I've had a couple good laughs from it, hopefully will be some more.

    40K?
    Not anymore.
A 4 headlight one that is sorted and looks decent will be more than 50K. People are asking in the 70s and 80s for nice 2 headlight ones. Vintage prices took off in the last year. Price guides are slowly being updated.
