yes, retail is a worry and I do have them, but they are into food, sex products and medical.....diverse range and nothing that involves discretionary spend
Yeah, I made a short term deposit the other day and said hey, the HSBC on the corner are offering this and they matched it. I'm a loyal person, probably silly, but they looked after me early on when I needed it. They were difficult a few years back on one occasion but they deserve another chance. NAB have also been good to me over the years.
when B/O went down in 1999 we the company owed them about 350k,i've offered them 35k over 3 months and they copped it LOl LOL
Let's hope so. I was cleaning up at my Dad's place the other day. Doing dump runs etc..etc. throwing old stuff they have collected over the years. Anywho, he used to collect the old Mount Isa Mines magazine called Mimag. These date back to 1963. Found boxes and boxes of them, some really interesting info and pics in them. Also, I found many local newspapers and a few newspapers from down south. Interestingly enough, in 1963 there were ads from banks I have never heard of before in my life offering 7.5% interests rates on home loans. A few years later, around 7.3%. The rates were up and down over the years. I flipped through many reading articles and stories. Found one there with an story of JFK talking about the moon landing. I will be back again Thursday, I will dig around and find more. Amazing reading the news from nearly 50 yrs ago.
Loyalty doesn't count for anything these days. They will belt you again should the mood take them, trust me. If they go cold on your industry for whatever reason, your individual situation won't make a lot of difference.
Long term fixed rates are coming down. That's a good indication of which way they think they will go.
how true, long before Lo Doc came about ,my last 2 home loans were based on equity ie no income/financils were shown ,mind you they turned ferral a few years latter
Stay tuned for another dive IMO. Happened in August 2007, dived, recovered, dived in early 2008 and never recovered. Upward movement always occurs with people thinking the market has bottomed out and start buying "cheap" stocks like crazy.
another big market crash would be ok. missed out in 08/09 getting back in and have been waiting since. plus interest rates will go down which is good.
MQG according to you was gunna hit 120.00........still got room to move, bargain to be had or just dog **** stock and advice
Wow, 360C tells us on the first page of this thread how he was up $60k, no one has an issue, I only post a % gain without advising how much I made, could of bought 1 share, and you break rule 1.1. What did Vegas say?
