I tried the Mr. Clean stuff tonight. Not bad but not great either. Any tricks or was I sold?

Maybe car washing is not my thing. I miss dirt and then the shammy makes nice scratches. Either that or the wash mitt gets a nice hard chunk in it and you know the rest. So I only wash when I'm really in the mood to relax and take my time which only lasts 1/2 the car then the second half takes "forever".

I just started washing my own cars so maybe I need to do it more. Perhaps it's like changing diapers - first one takes a box of wipes and 1/2 hour then after a month you can do it with one hand while talking on the phone holding a drink and flipping the remote.

So maybe if I keep at it I can wash a car in minutes. Or scratch the hell out of it and then I'll be posting on what a good buff runs.

4 me washing a car is more of something that relaxs me
    it takes passion
its not just to get the dirt off... so i make sure that i dont miss anything
also... its not a rush job... if needed i can wash a car in 20 mins plus drying time but i kno ill be doin a crappy job
take your time.... if you love your car... it will love you back
