I've been reading this Heavy Hitters magazine since it's first issue and I've been buying every issue from the newstands since. I picked up the latest issue last night at Barnes And Noble. Upon looking through the magazine, I saw a familiar face in it. I'm sure some of you have seen him on the F chat forums as Mr The Kid. His name is Knick Jimenez and there's a great feature on him in the magazine. Congrats Knick on such a great feature and allowing us fellow F chatters to get to know you better. Love the cars, especially the Shelby GT 500. My dad used to have a 68 GT 500 KR and I absolutely loved that car. Keep us updated on how the Scuderia is doin. Once again, congrats.

It was actually a 7 page feature on him and it was basically an interview. It talked about how he came up to where he is now and had tons of pictures from the Gumball 3000, pics of his cars and also pics from his nice collection of guitars. It states that he's an angel investor, but he's devoted alot of his time to his website as well. Knick sounds like a very outgoing person and I would love to meet him if I'm ever in the Palo Alto area.

Met MTK and Che at the Avila Beach event last month.
Love the choice of colors on his Scud and the Flying Tiger graphics for Gumball were tasteful.

Yeah the magazines do tend to sell out pretty fast. Every issue I've gotten was better than the previous one. Looking forward to reading the next one.

Man I'm an idiot for totally missing that...haha. That article believe it or not, is on the guy and his shop who bought the Enzo that Eddie Griffin previously wrecked and how they rebuilt the car. It cost them $60k for two fenders and one front bumper, $8k for a new drivetrain, $7500 for the front undertray and $6k just for the front trunk liner. In total it costed the guy $138k in total to finish the rebuild and 500 manhours of labor. It says it took Ferrari six months to build and deliver the front frame to the guys rebuilding the Enzo, also in which the whole front end had to be done by hand. Pretty interesting story and interview of the whole thing. Pick up the magazine to find out more. I'll try and get a scan this week of some of the pages.

Also, the car is apparently purchased from someone in Dubai and is probably on its way there as we speak.
