I think I saw that moron cruising up and down the main streets in South Beach during the WMC last year in a Phantom at 10mph or so trying to look cool.

    Exactly.

I feel bad for the people in multi-million dollar houses who get stuck living next door to certain pro sports players and musicians.

Shaq actually has a head on his shoulders, though. I saw an interview with him and he's very conservative with his investments because he wants to make sure he doesn't run out of money. But he would have to pull off a Tyson-esque level of stupid events to lose his money. And Don King is nowhere near him, so that helps, too.

I like shaq and as for his cars.. not to fond of his rolls but his hummer and his navigator (if he still has it) are both awesome. Missy and Wyclef had great cars as well.

Shaq has had a piece of Google since the pre IPO days. Word has it that his one million dollar investment in 2001 is looking like over one hundred million now.

Everything I've heard about Shaq is that he's pretty conservative with his cash- I wouldn't be suprised if he retired from the NBA with over 500M in the bank. The Google story seems like kind of a wild risk for him.

Oh and Marbury's concept, just awful.

That was my thought, too. I heard him say he didn't care if he was invested 100% in Treasuries because he would know that he wouldn't lose his money.

    Overly-conservative thinkers don't turn into risk-takers overnight.

Why would someone pay that much money for something that is essentially a $55,000 Escalade? Does not seem to make sense to me but then again it gives the rap stars something to waste their money on...how else do you
f-up $300 million like MC Hammer or Mike Tyson??

Do a search on Sultan's car collection (probably Jefri's anyway), you'll find many interesting custom made automobiles such as 456 sedan, 456 estate, RR Phantom VII (don't remember the exact name), etc.
These are all pre-97 Asian crisis cars.

Tyson did own an F50...from what I understand he was very generous in letting people see it and so forth...but he paid $300,000 over sticker for the car, this along with Don King management explains alot about where his money went. The car is now on consignment at http://ferraris-online.com/pages/carintro.php?reqcardir=FE-F50-104220 check out the history and it will give you the scoop on this car.

Missy Elliott may have "classy" cars, but that doesnt mean she didn't buy them because she views them as art. Besides, most of them don't even pronounce the names of their cars properly anways.

to each is own. People have different tastes. Why do you guys try to put them down?

Can't believe the stereotypical bias that is still rampant these days.
