MSR SCCA event Sept 1st & 2nd

Just curious if any forum members were thinking about attending? There is a small event for Miata's focusing on car control and safety so I just went ahead and volunteered for Fri-Sat and will go were needed, good fun it will be.

There will be other series racing that weekend and the PDX Miata event is not a race. I just thought this might be a good opportunity for some local Fchat members to meet and hangout.

 

A friend of mine that I have known since highschool has a ranch within 30min's of the track and I will be staying there that saturday night (I am volunteering on Sat and Sun). I'm thinking a nice steak dinner and some drinks to fill the belly for a good nights rest. I'm not talking about camping either as there is a huge house aswell as a fully furnished trailer home with cable, a/c etc etc. I must limit this invitation to one person (significant others included) since I am a guest but I already have approval. Hell I lived on that ranch for over a year helping my friends father but unfortunately he will not be there as he passed away two weeks ago.

I just thought I would extend this invite if anyone is interested.

 

So are there any local Fchatters going this weekend? I have extended my stay at the ranch and will be there friday evening simply because it will cut 1hr off my drive time.

Hope to see and meet a few locals there.
