MSWMM files...

I had a friend video my car on the dyno about a year and a half ago, and he finally got around to sending me the clip. However, it is in MSWMovieMaker, and I cannot get any of my programs to open it (including Movie Maker) I asked him to resave it in mpeg or avi or something, But he smokes too much wacky tabaccy, and keeps forgetting. So, I opened MSWMM, and tried to import the file to the storyboard, and nothing happens at all. Is there a way I can convert this file to a more friendly format?
