    Jeff,

I have a Euro 84 QV with a spare muffler. What I'd be interested in however are the headers and interconnect pipes (front and rear bank).

Also, do you have a price on the blower motors that mount in the front of the car, ahead of the front wheels? I may need to replace mine.

    Appreciate your help Jeff!

I was amazed that there was still the original unit on my new purchase!

It's very quiet compared to the Ansa on my older car, but the gf likes it! :)

    Also wondering-
What would be the cost of a stock Euro 308 QV muffler? My car is an 84 built in October 83. Do you have them in stock? A photo would be great- as always, thanks for the help.

Anyone else have a decent one lying around they want to get rid of?

    John

    You've got 20?????? That's a few!!

I was told the unit on my 22641 is stock but they sure cut the rear lower valence to install it! i'm going to investigate further.

My 22127 has an ANSA unit that clears the rear valence. I like that better!

The one you are selling is a US 4 tip, correct??

Jeff -- Is this the "US" 308 muffler 111583 that you're offering in this thread? Are they the "thermal reactor" (heavy because insulated) type?

Jeff -- Those are US catalytic converters not mufflers! I definitely wouldn't throw those away yet -- your price isn't too bad, but you might get more demand if you can get inside $500 US.

Maurice -- Here's a shot of the stock US '78-'79 308GTB/S exhaust system where those cats are used:

No kiddin! Cats are different than mufflers, but close!

Those things need to be swapped to California, man, where they are serious about compliance with EPA. Those fit a '78, '79 or later, because I DON"T HAVE "EM!!!

On that note, I will be removing a set of original air pumps that fit '77 308GTB, if anyone in CA, or for concours, needs this equipment.
    Good price to good home!

I'm going to reuse the cam pulley for an onboard expresso grinder!
Ju's joshin, ya'll. Serious about the air pumps though.

Re: real mufflers, go with ANSA USA, they got 'em for around $1,225.00 US.
US or Euro configurations, which differ.

You'd never afford the freight on a thermal reactor muffler!!! LOL!

It'd make the plane lean to one side, in flight!

No harm no foul! At least you didn't ship any out! LOL

Your market will be 78 and 79s in California, they HAVE to have them as original, and surely the originals are dead by now.

Sadly most owners strip 'em off and sell the cars to the other 49 states.

    It does muffle, actually.

Yeah. I've been through this. 111583 is the part number for a 1978/1979 308 GTB/S US Spec Catalytic Converter, two of which are required. Online, they call it a "Muffler," but they're definitely catalytic converters.

Post in the Northern Cali and Southern Cali regional sections.

Those guys are gonna need 'em to pass smog check!

There is a lot of them, in the region!

Some other areas of the US still need them as well, anyone?? East coast??

After 25 years even in Houston, Texas a darn smoggy place, my two '77 308GTBs are now "exempt" from testing.

A lot of '78s and '79s have been stripped and won't be allowed in CA.

Do you ever post to the "other site that shall not be named?????"
