The rears are £ 299 + VAT and the fronts are £ 239 + VAT. i think that is somewhere like £ over 1,000 cheaper per tyre.

Generally speaking people can buy them on line form the links

    http://www.longstonetyres.co.uk/page/255-60wr15-pirelli-cinturato-cn12.htm

It will work out shipping costs etc. (which is usually free)

if you are in the States; the first few sets are on their way to Lucas as i write. and they are not yet on their web site, but the price should be pretty similar contact 1(800)952-4333 or [email protected]

239.00 GBP = 315.873 USD, not a bad price. Nice to see that.

Any intention on a 205 for the early Espada and Jarama?

Same improvement as already seen on the Michelin XWX new production compared to the original period tyres.

If it's a 70 series then I think the diameter would be too small.

What's wrong with a 215? I like my 225s just fine. But they are NLA :(

Do you have an actual measured width sidewall to sidewall as well as tread width for these? 255 isn't always the same actual dimension for all manufacturers.

    Hi

There are dimensional differences between manufacturers of tyres. however that isn't really a concern, because this is not a different manufacturer.

The 215 versus 225 discussion i think is that earlier cars had 215/70VR15 Michelin XWX on the front and 225/70VR15 Michelin XWX on the rear. then the SV went up to 255/60WR15 PIRELLI CINTURATO™ CN12 on the rear and they fitted the Cinturato CN12 that Pirelli are now making again for us. The CN12 came out in 1971; which i think is the same year as the SV. that was pretty hot on the tail of low profile tyres. they had only just invented 70% profile tyres in 1968 and only 3 years later the SV is fitting 60% profile tyres.

On the subject of price; would anyone like to post how much these tyres cost last time they were available?

Our intention is to get the best tyres possible and keep the price right. we have had discussions about this on a Countach thread. my intention is to sell these tyres to AC Cobra, GT40 and Aston Martin Vantage. When we got the 205VR15 CN72 made fortunately that was OE on lots of Maserati, ISO and Ferrari too. i am currently working on P7 for the countach and i hope to have the options of fronts soon, because of their Porsche associations. Hopefully the Countach rear may follow.

All the details for the Pirelli Cinturato range are on here PIRELLI CINTURATO ™ and that also includes the 205VR15 CN72 that fitted the Espada & Islero. And for that matter the 350 & 400 cars and the first Muira.

I think the picture below is the first Muira fitted with the 205VR15 PIRELLI CINTURATO™ CN72 that we sell
