Just going by the choice of hat and attire here, but... did you steal it? :p

    Nice! :D

My parents have started going to a few of these sorts of events in the area with their red 1959 Triumph TR3A. If you ever see one, say hi to the owners and ask if they have a son named Andrew studying in Scotland. ;)

    All the best,
    Andrew.

can relate to that,I'd rather have an "S" to Turbo of the same period.

Wasn't the S produced over the same time-frame as the Turbo R?

Although I really like Bentleys, I don't particularly know the details to distinguish the finer points between the models. Were the mechanics and specifications on the Muslanne S from this period pretty much the same as the Turbo R... just without the actual turbo? Was the turbo problematic?

    All the best,
    Andrew.

Yes, in the US, the Mulsanne S came out in '88, Turbo R deliveries started here in '89. Three models in that time period (Eight, Mulsanne S, and Turbo R). The Eight was the Bentley version of a poverty spec car, but was just lower cost wood, and less details in the interior. Both the Eight and the Mulsanne S were replaced with the Brooklands in '93. That car would gain a turbocharger later and then naturally aspirated cars disappeared from the line up. WO was not a fan of forced induction...

Nice color combo. Debating adding tables to mine. Not worried about originality on this one.

I've been talking to a few vendors both in the USA and in the UK. Paint and lights are next on the list, then we tackle the interior. But no stupid TVs in the headrests.
