The Diablo & Countach are Mean looking cars.

This Barchetta....I'm not sure about it yet.
Guess I'll need to see it as Utkarsh blows by me on the next run. :)

You're presence was dearly missed. The crowd was raudy and out of control; some hot babe ran over my house light...had you been there, you would've frisked her.

John your funny. :D But on another note, that really stinks with the roof especially since it is a car meant to compete with the 360 spider.

LOL! Who would have thought? I can not believe this car is that expensive. In my opinion, there are so many other cars out there for the price and UNDER!

I'd take a Carrera GT over the Murcielago Barchetta any day.

  17. I wouldent carrera gt doesnt look half as good, The Murcialgo Barchetta looks perfect screw the canvas top thats only for when you get caught in the rain same as the 550 barchetta. I think the Murci Barchetta is great but I would on purchase till the market settles and there back to MSRP.

The Murci is more of a Grand Tourer (Yes, it's got 2 seats and a helluvalot of power) in the heavy, big and powerful sense -- the Carrera GT is more of a Sports Car in the it's a much less forgiving and road-nimble car sort of way... I'd take the Carrera GT.

I'd like to see it in person, but the photos sure look good to me.

No way I'd pay 400K for one, though, given the price of 2002 Murci's at half that.

In California, I would get hit from behind on almost any road at 45-50 MPH. Also, sometimes you need the factory air when it is over 100 F outside, then you are stuck at 50 again.

Seems quite a limit where I live. Maybe it needs a carbon fiber sub for the canvas or something...

The prestige of owning the first Lambo Roadster?! You betcha it's gonna go for that price. Maybe not on eBay. Maybe not this time. But it will go. Just like first Carrera GT's were being sold for $100K over MSRP even though dealers had allocations. Just like Ford GT's are expected to also go for about $75K - 100K over list, for a $150K car.

    It'll go.

I can see a good amount of people getting this. Just like the 550 Barchetta, you take this bad boy out when the weather's good. Tops? We don't need no stinkin' tops!

It's a complete waste for anyone in the Tri-state region imo, especially with the unpredictable weather here.. 50 mph?! At least the Ferrari 550 Barchetta can do upto 70-90 (im not sure of the exact figure)
