Trying to understand where the market is for MY02 - MY04 prices. I've taken a stab at the price grid based on car condition. Understand there are no hard and fast rules, but would appreciate guidance.

Keep in mind these are meant to reflect dealership prices, and transactional numbers, not asking prices. Current MSRP for MY05 coupe is ~$295K.

For simplicity's sake, depreciation / year assumes car was bought on 1 Jan of the MY and kept till end of this year.

    Comments appreciated.

    Thx.

I would think real money on an 02 in ex cond. would be closer to 185. I think your prices are a bit high. Roy should know though.

A PERFECT 02 should be no more than 190K........unless it has had the cluster changed out to MPH, then 195 or so.......

The 03, as long as it had the sterring colum recall performed, less than 10K..
$200 to 220 depending on options, miles, color ect........ave 210K

    2004 Nothing below 235 yet.........E-Gear 240K

    2005 holding at 255 to 270 E-gear

Vik, the only thing I'd say might still be a little off is the '04 MY stuff - what you have is probably dead on for 6 spds, but because of the desire (in some circles) for e-gear, and the reduction in coupe production due to the Barchetta's coming out, I find it is VERY hard to find even OK '04 e-gear murcis for under 240k. That would be my only comment, the rest looks dead on in my opinion.

Thanks for the comments Jason. And you're absolutely right - I'm sure e-gears will be ~$10K more expensive. I should have predicated that this analysis is for 6-speeds.

I can't believe the range for MY02's. That is a helluva price for a car that offers so much, and is less than 4 years old.
