While driving my 348 Spider or my 308 GT4 i never even thought about turning on the radio or cd-player. (the 308 didnt even have one).
But in my 456 MGT i like to enjoy the engine-sound (tubi) AND music.

what kind of music do you prefer in your 456/550?

My cd-changer is filled with a wild mix:

    - Gotan Project - la revancha del tango
    - De Phazz - Godsdog
    - Paco de Lucia - Concierto de Aranjuez
    - Ottmar Liebert - Nouveau Flamenco
    - Simply Red - Home
    - Jamie Cullum - Twentysomething

Think....the original "The Italian Job" 1969 (Michael Caine). Rossano Brazzi driving his Miura through the winding roads of Aosta in the Alps, with Matt Munro singing "On Days Like These"......before he entered the tunnel, hit the Caterpillar Truck and died at the hands of the Mafia (waste of a good Miura too.....and later E-Type and Aston Martin DB6...all wrecked)
I cant think of anything more perfect and try to emulate when I am out there on a nice day (except for the crash of course).
Watch the film (the opening...its on YouTube), then play it in the car when driving!
    Great!

    Classical, Baroque musics...

New Age music like Yanni and Kassenov...

If not, than my TUBI from the back provides some great tone as well, or mix them all up...

Paul, that's one of the best automotive scenes. At least the Aston wasn't an Aston but a rebodied Fiat, I'm not sure about the E-type. The Miura was one that had been previously totalled, and went down the cliff without the engine, probably many other parts lived on to see another day. It was a real chassis though, it's very recognisable in the stills - and that alone would be quite valuable today.

Straight roads in the high desert: Rolling Stones
Winding roads through forests and hilly country: Puccini arias, Beethoven symphonies or Bach organ fugues.
    Stuck in traffic: Bonnie Raitt
