Is it possible to stream music to my 458 Spider using this adapter from Apple to use the system with iPhone 6? I need to stream music from Spotify
Lightning to 30-pin Adapter - Apple

Or do you recommend Viseeo Tune2Air?
If Viseeo Tune2Air is the way to go, which version suits the car WMA2000 or WMA1000?

So we've recommended using something like this which would actually turn your 30pin adaptor thats in the glovebox to a bluetooth streaming audio. The only problem is, that the car and the phone sometimes freak out if you try to connect for a phone call while you are streaming music.

But its a nice solution - otherwise your other solution will work as well

I cannot figure out why my '15 Spider will NOT stream music from my iphone 6?? The car has blue tooth and I can talk on the phone hands free, BUT I cannot listen to music on my phone. I've confirmed with my dealer that the car will not pair with my phone for music. Does anyone know of a solution for this?

I had the same question when I got my Spider last summer. Dealer said no-go on streaming music from iPhone. Bluetooth won't do this on the Italia/Spider. Only the Speciale will do this for you. Go figure! That's why it's called the "Speciale"!

Just bought Bovee ViseeO WMA1000 Wireless Bluetooth Music Interface Adaptor on Amazon last week. It's streaming perfect through Spotify.

Based on the specs, all you need is bluetooth streaming protocol on your Samsung phone (which should be standard on all new phones). This should work.

Compatible with Audi AMI, Mercedes Media Interface and VW MDI or any other cars with the original or aftermarket iPod integration installed that has a 30 pin iPod connector (WMA1000). Supports Airplay and A2DP Bluetooth music streaming protocol

This. Italia/Spider only have Bluetooth phone audio, not music. Speciale has both. Go figure.

Visseo works perfectly. Had it for my 15 Spider. Speciale doesn't need it.

I bought the Bovee off this Amazon link for my '15 Spider. My iPhone 6 will not pair with it. It recognizes it but will not pair with Bluetooth. I have to use an old 30 Pin usb cable to connect the Bovee to the usb cord in the glove box. Any advice from people who've had better luck?

the Bovee has to be plugged into a 30 pin usb cable connected in the glove box, then it should pair with your phone (I think it was code 0000 if I remember). Choose ipod in the media selection and it should be good to go. The phone has to be paired with the Bovee not the car to stream. I have a 13 spider and works well. Hope that helps.

Do track names/etc display, and steering wheel controls work with the Bovee?
They do with the viseo, although Spotify does not display track names, Apple Music does.

You need the Ferrari iPod connection for these Bluetooth devices to work. Without it other than an FM modulator and playing through a radio channel there appears to be no way to stream audio

When I select 'Media' I only have two options, 'HDD' and 'Disk'. No iPod option.
Is iPod option a factory option I'm guessing?

If you don't have a 30pin iPod cable already in the glovebox then you don't have the option. your dealer may be able to retrofit this option. Caveat emptor, it was nearly one thousand dollars from the factory.

I actually dont think thats a viable option. I bought one of the cables on ebay for $250ish, then called Ferr of Atl about installation. They said they tried 2x, in both instances the head unit did not have the spot for the connector. (and its about 10 hours labor on top of that)
