What are the TV shows that you must watch every week? Mine are: Modern Family (Wednesdays at 9 on ABC) Cougartown (Wednesdays at 9:30 on ABC) The Office (Thursdays at 9 on NBC) 30 Rock (Thursdays at 9:30 on NBC) The Soup (Fridays at 10 on E!) --Grant
The Office Two and a Half Men The Colony Destination Truth Pretty much anything on Discovery and the History channel's. Intervention is eye-opening GhostHunter's is cool and some of the stuff they capture on film is quite amazing(as well as voice recordings) COCK'D GUNNS(canadian show, so you guy's probably don't get it) I watch a ton of t.v and theres so many but usually it's only a few sitcom's like two and a half men/big bang theory sometime's,america's most wanted/cops...but pretty much my tv is permanently on channels 42/43 which are Discovery and History. and most importantly DEXTER.
My GF got me hooked on both House and True Blood. I don't go out of my way to watch House, but I thoroughly enjoy watching it when it's on. Californication is pretty funny.
Last weeks episodes was GREAT also: Lost The big bang theory (although its on a retarded schedule this season, which will DEFINITELY lose them a lot of viewers imo) Entourage to buy on DVD: The Sopranos Prison break (first 3 seasons are great, 4th was dragging it a lot)
I know why they have all the breaks. It's because a full season of any TV show is 24 episodes so therefore 24 weeks, but a season runs from September to May which is no where near 24 weeks. Hence all the breaks in-between to make it last until May. It's odd of us because European shows do not normally have breaks between episodes in a series but the US shows do and as more and more US shows come to Europe you will see more of this.
Right now I've been watching: Chuck White Collar Burn Notice Psych Human Target Top Gear The show I'm most disappointed in this year is The Simpsons, I hate to say it but I think it's starting to reach the end of it's life.
Since I watch Top Gear on my computer I won't count it as TV. My wife got me watching Desperate Housewives, and it is silly but good. A nice way to unwind on Sunday evening and relax before the week starts. I am also enjoying V, but have my doubts the show will continue. It hasn't jumped the shark yet, but the ski boat might be warming up. I have caught bits of Spartacus: Blood & Sand on Starz and it looks really good, but I want to start at the beginning and watch all of them.
Only shows I can stomach - once in a while, I *must see* a rerun yet again; Highlighted are don't miss. Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations Chappelle's Show Chasing Classic Cars Formula One Racing Jeopardy [watch with missus wax] Match Game [@25-year-old reruns- watch with missus wax] Reno 911 Sopranos South Park Top Gear
The bold two are very enjoyable and always good for a quick laugh. As much tv as I watch there is not one show I 'must watch' every week.
yeap, F1 and the occasional hockey game, especially if the US is losing The women in the house seem to watch House, Greys, V, 24, Fringe, Defying Gravity, and a few I can't remember the names of
Been a while since I flipped on the TV but last I recall: Sanford and Son Gilligan's Island Good Times WKRP
the only show out right now that i'm really in to is undercover boss any cardinals broadcast is a must watch for me but, as for older tv shows, the west wing and the sopranos imo are two of the best shows ever released, i've got the full series of each, i'm watching them practically every day.
