I met my friend for lunch last week and I knew when he through me the keys to his 575 HGTC it would ultimately cost me BIG. Well, that was it....I gota have one with a stick. So, my beautiful Blk/Blk 550 is for sale if I can locate the right HGTC. If anyone's interested I've listed the details in our FerrariAds. Please e-mail me with any inquiries.

That is awesome, but sad to see it happen so soon after you bought it. You might want to post some pictures, either on FerrariAds, or here.

Let us know how the purchase of the 575 HGTC goes.

As you say, already finding a stick 575 is impossible, but a 575 Fiorano is a nightmare, and i never heard of a stick 575 HGTC, but it must exist, somewhere

    I hate the F1 tranny.

Just turn your 550 into a lightweight version! It would probably cost less $$$. :)

575 6sp fioranos are out there... you just have to be patient. finding the HGTC is going to mean you have only one option: check with *every* service center you can. they will know if it's out there, and give you a clue if you can buy it from the owner. waiting for that car to come up for sale is a waste of time.

or demonstrate a great deal of patience and persistance. i know of someone trying to retrofit the package - it's costing WAY more than the option price and is proving to be a *****.

The suspension etc is fairly cheap, it's the carbon brakes that are a drug money option. IMO, you'd be better off buying a 6 spd 575, change the exhaust, gas flow the intake, add Fiorano spec suspension and if you had intentionsoftaking itto the track, upgrading to Movit or similar brakes. The whole lot could be done for less than 20K

Originality is this guy's thing. Then again, he has 3 F40s and hasn't driven two of them. One's been "upgrading" to LM spec, etc. for over a year now. The kind of person who buys a whole new set of wheels for his F50 because one has a rock chip...

    I already tried! :D

Wierd guy. Gear head for sure. Buys two of everything, locks one in a garage. Got pissed when Ferrari wouldn't sell him two Enzos.

    It takes all types...

do exactly what stephens did, keep the 550, not a big enough difference and the 550 is prettier.

That's okay...then you can run the pi$$ out of it with the old wheels on it :D
My SA has HGTC on it, Stephen, what are the $ on the springs you're using?
I may well keep the Shark and put the big Movits on it + spirngs, bar, ECU.
Shark is prettier than the SA, certainly prettier than 575. It smiles :D
PM me info on springs, etc. Dan, U up for group buy??
One FHP on FNA site, but F1. F1A box is really nice, works far better with torque-monster 12's than with 8's. QP makes that case for me.
    Don't sell it PCH.
PS, 575 production will resume very soon. I have a Shark built LONG after the Barchettas.
