Sorry to see it go Dave...I remember your posts about when it came. But it begs the question...what's next?!
LOVE the roadster wheels on that car. Interior would take a little getting used to but if you have a Murci what the hell why not go a little crazy on the interior. Beautiful car regardless...you getting in line for a LP640?
Does this mean that you found the Diablo more involving to drive than the Murcie, more interestingly Lambo in the old school sense, or is there another reason why you are keeping the Diablo and getting rid of the newer car?
I love the refinements of the Murcie but the Diablo since inception has always been my favorite car. I totally enjoy the Diablo experience! Roy told me that there were five 01 Diablo's totaled near the west coast in January and February. Roy told me all accidents were the other's fault. It seems like the supply is declining. I can't help feeling my winged Diablo is not the ultimate Lambo in looks. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
There have been a ton of 6.0's totalled in 2006 so far. It's fantastic! Cant wait to see the resale go up and up and up. -Ben
YES, there have been 5 since January 1, 2006 that ARE GONE!!!!!! I do no tknow if they have a big bulls eye on them right now, but hell at this rate I am going to lock my 6.0 away in a underground secert storage place!! I truly believ you will not see a DECENT 6.0 less than 200K by summers end.....
agree completely. with everything being equal, it is my firm belief that in less than 6 months, a diablo 6.0 / 03 murci spread will be inverted (prem 6.0)
See lots of Diablo owners upgrading to Murcielago, the going back to Diablos, proves the Exotic Supercar is dead, refinement killed it. New so called Exotics are so "easy to drive" you might as well drive a Honda. Daily driver my ass.
Haha it might be good for you, but it means that I have to work that much harder to get my 6.0 (arguably the best looking Diablo...or Lamborghini in my opinion)
The Diablo's clutch is stiff and gear shifting needs to be precise. I enjoy driving with those parameters. It reminds me of my Formula Atlantic Days. The Murcie is roomier and slightly more visibility. To compare the two cars the Diablo is a 10/10 while the Murcie is 9.99/10 both being supercars.
.......How the heck are you Freddy? (WINGS) It looks like Im going back into the LAMBO drivers seat. I placed a deposit with CATZ on the LP 640. Should know build sheet by next month. Are you still driving the SV I sold you? Hope all is still well.......hows the little lady doing? (gloria right?) Take Care: Brian
Schackman you are my hero!! The list of cars you own/owned is very impressive and if it was my money been almost identical to that.
