I don't generally collect model cars but these are the ones that I had to have. The UT Models McLaren F1 was a lucky find, the most valuable, and the hardest to come by.

The Enzo is a beautiful car and was a mandatory purchase. When the 430, and Koenigsegg CCR become available I will get them as well.

I have the Fiero model because I have it's close twin in my garage. The real car has a darker shade of metallic red.

Thank you. I may pick up an F360 while I am at the shop. I think it is one of the most beautiful cars ever made.

I know the F1 is really compact, but next to the Fiero it looks positively tiny.

Which is funny because I don't think that's actually the case! I saw a McLaren F1 just over 2 weeks ago, and I don't remember it striking me as being overly small. I'd think a car *that* much smaller than a Fiero would imediately jump out at you.

It doesn't really look smaller. Just lower.

Ah, guess you're right. By official specs, the F1 is about 2 inches lower, ~2" wider, and 8.5" longer. Still, not bad for a car that seats 3 with a V12.
Good start for a collection. I have the Enzo too, and the Harrod's F1 GTR. Bought mine back in the day when you could get the UT street car on sale for like $30 from exoticar.

BTW, did the one you saw look anything like this?:

I have been collecting die cast for about 12 years now and have a collection of over 100 die cast cars. They range is scale from 1:64 to 1:8. I have Pocher, Bburago, Kyosho, Hot Wheels, UT, IXO, Maisto, etc.

Just received my 1:18 F430 a week ago and am waiting for the spider version.

The issue I am coming to now is the space to store them. I need to look into buying more cabinets or having some made.

    Enjoy collecting the models.

Would you believe that I got the F1 for $10 at a consignment shop? They had no clue what it is worth.

Guibo, that is a great photo. I love red. It is one of the most beautiful cars ever made.

Which Enzo are you looking to buy (i.e., what brand & scale)? I assume the Hotwheels 1/18 version?
