    No, folks, I didn't plan it this way :) I noticed earlier this week that my post count
    was nearing 1000 so saved the last one for this!

    On this day exactly a year ago Sofia, my 1986 328 arrived by truck from Washington
    DC. 3000 delightful miles (and a LOT of $$$ spent getting her up to prime), she runs
    like a new car and I hope to drive her most every sunny day from now until forever....

    My wife has even grown to like Sofia :)

    Just kidding but you should have come over to Gig Harbor Sunday it was fun. Don't worry my car didn't make it either but for other reasons, not because it was raining.

    Would have loved to actually, but I was (and still am) in Anchorage, AK on business :( I had tried to be at
    the Gig Harbor Cars & Coffee the Sunday before, but alas it snowed - and here I was all prepared to 'man up'
    and not worry about the rain... but heck - SNOW? And the following Sunday (this last Sunday) I had to
    fly out early for Anchorage. Now that stupid Mt. Redoubt blew it's top here and we're on pins and needles
    that we can fly out in the AM.... the airport was closed on Monday for several hours, and today no North
    bound flights got out. So here's hoping the winds don't change and blow the ash plume into Anchorage,
    otherwise we'll be here yet another night....
