6 on glass cavallinos?
Mitchell, where are my manners? Thanks for the heads up regarding the on glass cavallinos. Especially since that new information will save me a lot. I can now cancel my custom window tint film with 10% translucent cavallino watermark images that would have been slightly more dense in cavallinos per square foot (CPSF) than the liners of John's luggage. Would have been multi-plethora count. I was ordering this because I too am very concerned that with the lack of sound, smell, forward acceleration, lateral acceleration, tactile sensation and brand cues that might remind me I would be driving a Ferrari, I fear I would forget, quite often. However, it does indeed help to know the glass has the tiny, discrete markings to remind us we are in such a macchina sportiva.
As my odyssey continues, at this moment I'm on a last minute flight to New York, which means I will be in visual distance from the entry port where my Stage Nin... ...where my Stage N-n-n-n... ...I don't seem to be able to bring myself to say it... ...where my car may be, on a possibly docked transport ship or in a customs processing warehouse. So close! At least I can stop by the Atelier tomorrow and visit some of my car's older siblings...
Mitchell, thanks. I was figuring windscreen, 2 side windows on each side and rear window to get to 6.
Visited the NYC Atelier this afternoon. While recognizing my seventh week anniversary of Stage 90, I was able to pursue some additional Cavallino Counting. This was amusing to the staff, who helped with opening all the doors, hood, truck. I did confirm a couple more, results to be posted soon, with official counts coming after I take delivery.
I love that you all provide me not only with car advise, but also highly sought after tax and expense consulting services! I believe this thread meets the IRS standards and guidelines for documentation... Who knew?
News just in, apparently recent heavy storms and snows backed up the port. In honor of the news I just received from my dealer, I may very well change my custom license plate to "UFB91". I've been sprung from Stage 90 jail! WooooHooooooo! Stage 91
Please keep in mind this is a work in progress, not final numbers, but I know this is tops on everyone's minds on a daily basis, so here is the current unofficial count. It will be worth the wait, mine was delivered yesterday and 500 kms later i still cant wipe the smile off my face.
Fantastic! I'm glad you've been in yours. I'm doing face exercises to prepare so I won't cramp up from continuous smiling...
Keith, I looked for that one at the Atelier in NY but didn't see it, where did I go wrong? Can you post a pic?
Thanks John! I got dizzy earlier while counting, and instead of seeing spots... ... I was seeing Cavallinos...
Holy OCD! But you may have missed a couple in the car: - Ferrari battery tender bag 1 - Ferrari battery tender 1 (mine didn't have one but on the odd occasion they can sport a label) Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login ...and if you're really keen, there will be cavallinos on the exterior covers of your documentation set (forget the factory stamps, stickers and logos inside some of the documents). Here are the ones for my older car. Enjoy the ride! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I'm not in front of my car for a week unfortunately, but I have the aluminum pedals. Maybe that's the difference?
