My nephew came to visit and enlightened me to a nice accessory I've ordered for the car. A drink bottle with a cap that keeps hot drinks hot all day and likewise for cold drinks, and without outside condensation. There is a size that fits nicely in the Cali T cup holder (based on measurements I received from my dealer). I will have a couple of bottles this week, with mix and match colors. Onyx bottle/red cap and red bottle, argento cap. Both should be MSA. Black cap is back ordered, as is matte black bottle. I'll send pics, but all can see at swellbottle.com, in case anyone is interested. I'm of course getting them to hydrate during the upcoming official Cavallino Counting Marathon... ;)

IMHO the perfect travel mug is this Thermos King Travel Tumbler. $20 and it fits perfectly. If you close it it won't leak if inverted. It keeps liquids hot or cold for hours and yet the outside is at ambient temp.

Not yet. They were supposed to contact me when their demo T arrived but my guess is that got lost in the shuffle. I need to follow up because I would be surprised if they don't have it.

I did drive the Cali 30 that they had and absolutely loved it. :) They got my deposit on a T that afternoon.

I'm sure plenty of people noticed...we all knew what you meant but I just wanted to make the joke about Ferraris being just as good as next-century cars from other luxury marques. :)

And my following comment was sincere, it is good to get people's perspectives who have spent significant time in comparable vehicles.

Time passes slowly while you are waiting for delivery ... nearly as slow as the working hours during the day before you get to drive it home once you own it .

QUOTE=Udaverea;143735992]I actually saw that straight away but knew it was a typo. One has only a short time window for edits. My edits have all been for typos. I've given up posting from my iPhone, those have been chock full of typing mistakes.

I did identify with your original post, however, as 2103 is the year my car will arrive in my garage (...OK, it just SEEMS like that...). ;)[/QUOTE]

You had more fortunate timing weather wise, what with being in the warm months this time of year. Glad to hear you are having so much fun driving each day.

I'll be bundling up to try out with the top down once I get it.

Now on my 12 Month California Odyssey, with delivery pending, I must make another tough choice, one made by every Ferrari owner to date:

Do I wash my car with San Pellegrino, or do I go "sanza gas" and use a bottled Italian still mineral water?

    Decisions, decisions... ;)

Like waiting at the top of the stairs Christmas morning as a kid. Listening to parents make the coffee. Every time they would start out of the kitchen we would think now is the time! Then they would remember something and go back for it...

Just another 86,400 seconds then......and I was thinking you were just about down to the last 100,000.

BTW I was wondering if Joe 90's name had anything to do with waiting for a car from Modena :)

Those 86,400 are definately going to go by one....at...a...time...

I would count them but I need to save that for Cavallino Counting... ;)

My expected delivery date is in June. It's about 8,815,000 seconds away just to the start of June. So that extra 86,400 is still less than 1% of my waiting time :( Hope that makes you feel a bit better.

    I'm confused...

Does the 84,600 figure refer to the Cavallinos?
