My..."ahem"...Peruvian citizenship just came thru so its on a boat soon, turns out I couldn't export a car to Canada without it...been a lesson in patience...worth the wait..should be a few weeks , then I get to deal with our customs here...should be fun...had to switch some stuff from copper to steel, really stupid stuff to make it work here.

Well, good luck with the import. I just had a quick look at the RIV site, and when you click on "For vehicles from any country other than the United States..." you get a page that says "The Web page you are looking for as not found." Nice. Hopefully not an omen of the process for importing a hot car from Peru.

Maybe you should punt this to James Simpson. Let him sweat it out with RIV. I think he speaks Spanish too ;)

Another nice video!!!!!!! Man you are getting me revved up here today....first the 430 start up... now this!...i just put together a crappy video of my Lancia using some elcheapo video program that came on the computer ....then i went out and shot a vid of a start up (too dark) but it gave me something to listen to with my eyes closed....now i'm lookin at real estate in Arizona on the web so i will have a place to play with cars in the winter...i am geting sick of snow...why did i come to Barrie? haha

It can melt right after Christmas!

Let us know when the car arrives.

Thanks, will be changing the gascap, wheels and making some mods to engine, suspension and interior over winter....then it will be close to perfect for me...it was hard to source the exact stuff I wanted in Peru (go figure)

The fun part is it will be the only one in Canada that doesn't have a single piece of fibreglass on the body...thats all hand shaped metal..the guys are wizards of metal working...you should see the train sized boring machines they make for us that dig into mountains for underground mining...incredible beasts.

Nice ride.......what kind of engine does it have?

Was your car built by Superformance? I heard rumours thatthey gone out of business.

I thought Superformance was the only authorized builder of replica Mustangs.

No, its an orig 1967 GT500 fastback converted to Eleanor. Superformance was a fraud that blew up earlier this year. Looked bad on mr. Shelby...its not a "licensed" product but I don't care...its mine and has better body work then the fibreglass frauds out of Texas..they were using flood damaged cars and faking VIN's...ouch.

Its a 428 cui, probably good for 350hp before Legendary takes a crack at it............

    Cheers

Does yours have a fiberglass body as well? Steel or Aluminum Frame?

350hp seems like a good amount...is a supercharger an option to kick up the HP?

As I wrote earlier, there isn't a piece of fiberglass in the whole car, its thr original frame.
    Supercharger would be fun.

    Cheers

Did you really take an original Shelby GT500 and convert it to an Eleanor or was it a Mustang fastback?

Legendary will be able to make that girl run, they have some great talent in the building.
