Some pictures of upgrades I added to my F355 spider. A functioning engine start button, a wind breaker, an Ipod plug, XM radio. The radio is an Alpine unit with the fantom face and XM ready. The radio sounds great but most of the time it is off when I drive the car. The engine sounds much better. Everything else is original. I was thinking of changing the exhaust system for more power but decided against it. I really like the sound of the factory system. I don't think anything else sounds better. Also I haven't read of any significant power upgrade from after market systems. The only way to get more hp power is to add a twin turbo system which would be too expansive.

When the 430 came out in 2005 I went with my kids to look at it at LFSC. The only comment my kids made was: "the engine start button is so cool" They really didn't care for the body style or engine sound. So I searched Ebay and I found an engine start button for $45 including shipping. It works perfect. You put the key in the ON position and press the button. There is a perfect location for it in the blank button on the console. In the European models the blank is a functioning ABS on/off switch.

I had the 30k service done about 4 months ago. What a difference! I can't wait to take it on a track. It is tuned perfectly. I had a freind time me from 0-60 And he said it was 4.3 seconds. I'm going to buy one of those OBDII monitors so I can time my self on a track. I just haven't descided yet of which one. There is the Nitrod, And the GTech-Pro OBDII. Does anybody have any experience with any of these monitors?
