    First time Ferrari buyer. Honestly, until I drove this car I didn't "get" Ferraris. I love this car, its hard to drive anything else afterward. The only thing I don't love is some of the attention it gets. Especially other Ferrari drivers. Some dude in a 458 is trying to get my attention. After I had pretended to not notice him for as long as I could I roll down the window, waiting for his opinion that I really don't care about. He asks if I leased the car, says its fast, and then asks why I didn't get the 599. I politely told him it wasn't interesting to me, and I don't like buying cars that are being replaced very soon. As he was asking me if I had a family, I rolled up the window and drove off. I don't bother to roll my window down for anyone at this point. That was my little rant and now here is my lovely car that I need not explain to anyone why I bought.

    Looks awesome! Classic color combination.

    I think the 458 guy was just trying to be nice...The FF isn't the obvious choice for most Ferrari drivers so him asking if you have a family probably had something to do with him wondering if you'd like to take them with normally.

    I wouldn't worry to much about that 458 driver. Doesn't sound like the typical 458 owner.

    Looks good. I like the grey/red. It's a fact that rare cars get attention, especially Ferrari's, and especially one as controversial as the FF.

    Very handsome. Enjoy it in good health.

    As for attention, you do have to get used to it. More serious is the attention that other drivers give you, getting too close or wanting to play. There is a need to adjust so as to drive VERY defensively when that happens.

    Beautiful spec. Enjoy it. Don't worry about the others. If you are in a situation when others ask you questions you don't want to answer, just tell them you got what you like and now you have to go as you're a very busy person.

    Love the CdF/Bordeaux combo on any Ferrari, beautiful. I don't mind the attention it gets on the road. Its only bothersome when the wife and I have dinner reservations and we get out and someone wants to stop and have a chat about the car, how fast it is, how much I paid for it, etc.

    After rereading what I originally wrote I didn't really mention why the seemingly harmless questions bothered me. I am almost always more than happy to chat with someone about the car. I prefer not to have some person I don't know pestering me to roll my car window down at a red light. I didn't mean to come off as arrogant.

    It was his demeanor that bothered me, mostly the tone he spoke to me in. It wasn't friendly, more like I was being questioned by a cop who didn't like me. He came off as condescending when asking me about having a family.

    I absolutely love the Canna Di Fucile exterior color. The bordeaux is gorgeous too. I have an Argento Nurburgring FF (I posted shots of it yesterday) with black interior that was a dealer demo so I didn't spec it. If I had I would have spec'd the Canna Di Fucile exterior but probably one of the dark brown interior colors with contrasting white stitching. I would have done the wheels like yours as well. Mine has standard wheels.
