    I had a nice yellow 1996 F355B many many years ago. Selling that always left me wondering why the heck i sold it. But, that car has seen some really great updates under its current ownership (junglistluder).

    Yesterday, i picked up my 2nd F355B. Bought it on Fchat. (My former 308 was an Fchat purchase as well.)

    Thanks to Tony (nsx2F355), i now own a beautiful 1995 F355B. Special appreciation to Stackhouse for being so gracious and helping facilitate this transaction.

    So, the story goes like this:
    Noon (11/6) yesterday -- we meet at a Utah DMV to process paperwork (I had flown in from Colorado earlier in the week for business.)
    2pm: Drop off rental -- Stackhouse plays shuttle driver and drives me back to get the car
    Jim, Stackhouse and i look at radar doppler to figure out the best route from Salt Lake City to Denver to avoid bad weather
    3:30pm, i leave Salt Lake via Price, UT to I-70 after topping off the gas tank
    7pm -- 1st gas stop -- Grand Junction, CO
    9:30pm -- Get to Glenwood Springs -- Snow falling; Vail Pass Closed so i check into a hotel
    8 am today -- get a Flatbed truck to drive me over Vail Pass and through Dillon into Georgetown -- i did not want to drive on ice/slush with summer tires
    By Noon, i am off the Flatbed Truck, on dry pavement after Georgetown, CO - headed into Denver.

    It was not easy but it sure was ALOT of fun. A great way for a new owner to learn how the car handles in different weather conditions.

    congrats on your purchase! Stackhouse is a really cool guy as well...Met him during Monterey/Carmel Concours weeks couple of years ago.

    Congrats, the 355 looks good with the dirt, the photo's remind me off the 355 world tour short after it's introduction.

    It really helped meeting mark in person. It may sound corny but who and where my 355went was very important to me. I would not have taken 5k more to good to someone I could not feel would respect and properly take care of it. I knew after meeting him that this was the right fit. He is much braver than I to jump in and drive home just like that. Perhaps that is part of the adventure and excitement. My 355 ownership has been the highlight of my life so far. With all debts about to be paid off perhaps I will find similar joy at home with my amazing wife. Congrats again! Thank you
